Theres a lady with a terminal illness on ITV1 news tonight and she's against assisted dying, so that should be an interesting watch.

The assisted dying bill as drafted by this government is bonkers. It will just mean someone spending their last few good months applying for a "divorce from life". It needed to be much simpler.

There is something sinister in this legal killing someone, I can see it from both sides of the coin, nobody wants to see anyone suffering but I also think it is too hard a decision to make and Drs should not be allowed to play god. There are various degrees of suffering, are we talking about the remaining family suffering or the patient themselves, who takes president?
