Asylum hotels

This is always the problem governments run up against.

A 400 person Rwanda gimmick is no use when you have 100,000 plus people you want to deport.

The government and the EU are both looking for countries to take much larger numbers, but those countries always seem to back out.
Rwanda was only ever about paying a chum some tax payers money

You tell me, you're the one who brought it up.

It was the loss of returns agreements after Brexit that caused an explosion in crossings.

Prof Brooks of Durham Uni published a report in February 2023 saying that he could find

“no records of any individuals travelling by small boat to claim asylum in 2017 or before” – not one case. But as “the UK prepared to leave its returns agreement, small boat journeys started”. And the people making those journeys grew in number, from the low hundreds in 2018 to tens of thousands in 2023.

Brexit caused the huge rise in small boats.

Pure and simple.

So, how many who voted Brexit are now shouting about the crossings and the related trouble?

Who was it crowing for Brexit originally?

Was it Farage?
Maybes yes, maybes no.

However for how long do we hark back to past decisions.

The question is, what is being done now to sort the issue?

Answer, not hellish much. Gimmicks. Tough slogans. Very little results.

Russian influence behind Bre*it and Trump's election in 2016 is showing tangible results for all to see these days.

The "blame Farage" loons ignore the fact that Nige was one of the first people to report on the Kent coast boat landings, and that for a long time the loons didn't believe him. When it became official loon policy to acknowledge the boats, they claim they are his fault!
Yes all the loons mocking him with stuff like "Fisher price binoculars"

I am confused by this revelation, are we now saying that these illegal migrants are just taking the pizz out of us and on the take from us through a loophole in Brexit. Or are they desperate people fleeing war zones because I see them as the first opinion.

Yep the lefty loons are flapping about pointing at everything other than starmers failed promise to properly sort it.

Even liberals don't pretend they're genuine asylum seekers any more. There was some dopey Scottish female police chief recently calling the illegals 'new Scots'. Saying how she would like to hire some as PCs. The liberals are being taken for the gullible mugs they are.

Exactly what they are doing. None of them have any reform traits amongst them. Just trying to cling onto a job.
Jenrick, as well as being a sleazeball who unlawfully favoured a buddy by interfering with planning permission, has a sufficiently racist record that limits his progress. It won't hurt him in Farage's company.
