Hi just wondered what you guys thought the best way to attach a normal non-folding showerscreen to a plasterboard wall covered in tiles? I don't want to take any of the tiles of the wall, any advice will be gratefully received.

seriously

the best way is to drill the frames with a HSS bit
then drill the tiles with a masonary drill bit, but turn off the hammer action until you have drilled through the tile

then run a bead of silicone down the back of the screen frame before screwing to the wall.

Put masking tape over the pencil mark that you will have made thro' the hole in the wall channel. This will help prevent 'skidding' of the tip of these bits.

PTS or any tile shop will have them.

And, take you drill off hammer action - repeated!
