think the pipe that runs from the mains gas is 22mm or certainly is bigger than 15mm but reduces to 15mm just under the boiler itself, was quoting 10 TRV's just as an overestimate really.was expecting £2500 so not come as too much of a shock to see 3 grand. :eek:

Gas pipe size will depend on length, number of bends and appliances output.

Must modern domestic boilers require 22mm so with cooker etc and an average pipe run you could be looking at 28mm

We would quote:-

Boiler at cost plus £20 depending on model from £550 to £1050

TRVs using Drayton TRV4s at £30 each making a total for 10 of £300

I have missed about rads but will assume you have them! If we fit new ones to existing pipework then its about £150ish each.

Fitting boiler if its in similar place and simple condensate route £740.
But thats inclusive for London and in the NE it should be a bit cheaper. Thats to include water treatment/power flushing as necessary.

But we dont normally fit boilers as we specialise in repairing them, even old Glow-Worms, and thats always cheaper!

If you are anywhere near Hartlepool then Kev might quote for you!

For me:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Boiler cost £xxxxx + £15

Installation of boiler & Powerflush: £870

TRV's: £18 each (Danfoss Ras-C2)

New 22mm gas pipe £ ?????????????????
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Please let us know how far it is to the gas meter, or to the nearest 22mm gas pipe which could be tapped into, as 15mm is only Ok if it is reduced to 15mm right by the boiler.
