Running XP, have Virgin Media antivirus which I run at least twice a week
Ran scan last night after watching football and came back clean then got loads of message saying my Antivirus was out of date (only had it about 3 months) also said I had loads of malware and trojans (one being the above)
I tried to run antivirus again and it wouldn't start and I am unable to connect to internet saying the .exe file was infected
Has anyone seen this before? I did a search on Google and some sites say a system restore will solve the issue.
Just asking on here before doing that.
