Just been in the big orange shed to buy a new end for my hosepipe.

While I was there, I took a walk down the electrical isle, just to have a laugh at the bad advice, but sadly there was no one there.

Anyway while wandering dont the isle, I noticed the are flogging off MK K1816WHI filtered twin sockets for a tenner a go. (usually around £40)

Obviously I cleared out my local branch, but your's may have some left :D

we all knock Bodge & Quit but yes an occassional wander does produce some gems
just after the change to harmony  wiring I got 10 x 25m rolls of 2.5 for £3 a roll (sadly all gone now   )

MK 60A 30mA rcd's in 2way enclosure marked up as £22.00 at my local Bodge & Quit store, so I obliged by purchasing the last 4 on the shelf.

That's an OK price. I used to pay £21.00 for a Steeple RCD on it's own (Denman's own brand).

Just before xmas I came accross chrome varilight touch/remote control dimmers ( 1 & 2 gang ) on clearance for £1!!!!
Naturally I cleared the shelf :D
Fitted some throughout the house and also made a penny or 2 on fleabay :D
