Barraby Bucknell 1960s TV.

I found Barry Bucknall thanks to a mention by my Dad. Been watching his stuff on and off for as long as videos of his have been uploaded.

Despite Roger knocking him a bit, I thought he was great. He was getting DIY skills across to the masses from the 50s.

In 1962, the BBC bought 79 The Grove in Ealing and filmed a 39 week series there renovating it. The house cost £2250.

That may well be where the clip is from.

Our staircase here, was 'Bucknalled' from new, by the builders. I took great pleasure in removing it all.

The thing with fashion is - If you just stay where you are, and wait, the fashion will come back around.
That’s been my moto.
From the age of about 18 I wore jeans and a black T shirt.
Close to 66, Still the same.
I have about 25 T shirts, all black. I buy packs of sock that are all black and the same.
Getting dressed involves zero thought, other than which leg goes into which hole in my jeans.

I do have some smart clothes.
