I've been looking at the various brands of barrier pipe and pushfit fittings:

- Polyplumb
- Speedfit
- Hep2O

One thing that confuses me with the latter two is their definitions of the minimum bend radius of the pipe.

They both sell cold forming bends which allow 15mm pipe to be bent and held at a radius of 75mm, however their instructions also state the minimum radius to be 8x the pipe diameter, which makes 120mm.

Can anyone explain? :)

What they are saying, and as I interpret it, the 120mm bend is for an unsupported made bend whereas it can be made smaller with the support of a former.
