body of work - rofl. What is your contribution? Other than attacking the infinite qualities of downlighters, pointing people to the wiki and getting snotty with posters if you don't think they're competent in your unprofessional opinion.

BAS dear. I gave up my former name of 'Lucia Fermi' because it had been cloned a few times by a few ne'er-do-wells on Sfx who were clearly intent on mischief. I was also embarrassed by the sheer number of posts that I had made. So, on the count of 9,999 I simply changed and shortened my name to Lucia.

That's a matter of public record on such a public site, and there's never been any suggestion that I used sleight of hand at any time.

getting snotty with posters if you don't think they're competent in your unprofessional opinion.

I don't mind discussing genuine examples of where my advice has been incorrect, or genuine differences of opinion.

But I do mind my advice being criticised or my opinions attacked, not on the basis of their merits, but purely because I'm not a professional electrician.

However - if you think the interests of the forum are best served by you criticising what I say not because there is anything wrong with it but because of what I am not then go for it.

I blame Victoria Aplin for allowing a culture to develop where that sort of thing can prosper.

I wasn't suggesting that you had any nefarious motives, I was simply curious. I didn't know you'd changed on the Screwloose forum, and I'd always thought the old anagram was quite good, that was all.

Perhaps so, ricicle, I really wouldn't know. But your contribution seems to have kept it alive. You could have side stepped it, rather than joining in, then it might have died a natural death..........
