Hi
I'm looking for something very simple ie 2 entry/exit door contacts and 4 window contacts for the ground floor of my house. It would need to be wireless with an external box and internal repeater. I'm not thinking about PIRs because of risk of spiders, false alarms etc. I've been looking at the Visonic Powermaster but unsure which model will best meet my needs. I'd like the capacity to add PIRs later maybe but initially just want something basic.
Thank you for any help you're able to offer

The only issue with contacts and shocks, you need to cover the perimeter at all entry points, because once in your house they can wonder around without setting the alarm off.

vulnerable points are usually the most private areas around your property.

Thank you very much for your help gents! I'll look further into the Pyronix Enforcer v10 then. Having seem some rather lengthy threads where others have gone down the route of self-installs I'll resist the burning temptation to follow suit. The info on this forum from people like yourselves is incredibly helpful though in giving me a clearer idea of what to insist on/is possible when it comes to installation - thank you!

Powermaster is a great bit of kit, with any of the wireless alarms on the market they are very reliable now so I wouldn't worry about spiders causing false alarms.
