bath tap holes too wide

Hi everyone.

I am changing my taps on my bath from single pillar to a mixing shower type.

Problem is the bath holes are 185 centre to centre and the single block wont fit correctly (180 cc) its over one side or the other too much.

any thoughts ?

There's a shower mixer in Bristans 1901 traditional range, that adjusts to suit different spans.
The style may not be to your taste, of course!

also Victoria plumb do a thermostatic one you can adjust the centres on. my problem is the holes are rather large that were drilled in the bath to ive goto use some large washers and plenty of silicone.
