I'm replacing Bath taps for a friend. Should be a straight swap as the new tap is pretty much identical to the old one. But what tools will I need? I don't mind buying basic plumbing tools. The taps are against a wall, side access from the bath panel only. I'm guessing I'll need some kind of box spanner to do up the back nuts and some kind of spanner to do up the pipework to the tap. The tap comes with flexi tails but not sure if I'll need them yet.

Cheers.

The taps I'm putting in:

I would be surprised if that tap comes with flexible tap tails .
An adjustable spanner and a bath wrench or crowsfoot should be enough.

It will be tight in there, especially to the far away tap connector. It can be done with an adjustable but there's a knack to it as you won't be able to tunn them much given the space. The box spanner for the back nuts is pretty straightforward.

Make sure the deck tap is square and that the seal covers the holes properly before tightening up.
