If you are changing over a bathroom light / electric shower (with correct cables already present) but not extending circuit on either for a customer (not in own house) does it fall under Part P?
 
Replacement of assemblies on a like for like basis do not have to be notified to B.C. You should however be competant.

Yes, all electrical work falls within the scope of Part P.

Certain work requires notification, the work you intend to carry out doesn't.
