I'm thinking of having a new ceiling in the bathroom, fitted under the existing one. Could anyone tell me of any height restrictions that are in place please?

generally we work to a ceiling height of 2400mm.
There are restrictions regarding the electrical items e.g. lights and fans. You need to consider ,when lowering your ceiling, which zone your lights will be in.

You can get more specific advice in the electrical forum (who will no doubt tell you all about 'Part P' and that you can't touch the electrics in your bathroom!!)
