I'm currently renovation my sons house. A few of the floor boards in the bathroom are up and need replacing only they are pre war. Can these be easily replaced by similar or do I suffer a metric replacement or replace the whole floor?

go to your local wood yard [not builders merchant although they may help]
with a sample of your flooring making sure it representative of the size [not had 2mm sawn of the edge for example]
and ask for replacements of this size
i suspect its going to be somthing like 22mmx 145mm if its square edge
