I am wiring a new light fitting in the bathroom. The old fitting only had two terminals. What I have are three reds twisted together and joined with a connector to a single red. I have one black, one yellow, 2 black and 1 blue. I have put the two black and the blue into the neutral, the yellow into the earth and the single black into the live. The single red I have taken from the connector and put it into the live also. So the other 3 reds are alone in the connector. The light works fine but when I switch on the kitchen light (on the same circuit) the bathroom light goes off  . What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
