The house I have moved into has a four spolight fitting in the bathroom which is way too bright and looks the worst for wear anyway. My question is can a normal pendant light fitting be used in bathrooms so that I can put an energy saving bulb in. This might sound a silly question but when I have looked at light fittings in B + Q many of them say not suitable for bathrooms.

Pendant fittings are NOT suitable for use in bathrooms!

Look for fitting that is OK for the zone. Probably zone 3 but check out your ceiling height etc to be sure.
