Bathroom vanity light. New lamp but not working.

I had a power cut yesterday and today my shaving light (as in pic) wasn't working. Don't know if there's a connection or just coincidence, everything else in the house is back to normal. Bought a new lamp and refitted the cover (lamp won't work without cover) but - no light. All the switches on the board are 'On'.
If relevant, new lamp is LED (old one wasn't).
Can anyone suggest what my problem is? Many thanks.

you sure the new led one is a direct replacement for that fitting ???

does the actual shaver adapter work ?

Can't say about the shaver as I don't have anything 2-pronged.

Why? this lamp seems to be designed to be a direct replacement and looking at the connections

It looks correct, so explain more please.

Thread 'Shaver Light won't work with LED bulbs'

In our main bathroom, the bulb in the shaver unit went. I bought an LED replacement, (it came with a non-led one) but it wouldn't work.

I figured that the unit itself was broken so replaced it and the LES bulb still wouldn't work. On a whim I tried the non-led one that came with it and that worked.

A while later the bulb in the unit in the other bathroom went and I still had the LED replacement so I tried it and it worked straight away.

Now I've bought another new LED bulb for our main bathroom and that won't work in the unit either. I tried all 3 bulbs in the other bathroom and they...
