I have a problem with my baxi combi boiler,it shows flame failure after a few seconds when firing up, however without the sealed case off it works fine and with it on but screws not fully tight works fine. This is only on heating, the hot water works fine. The pipes leading to the pressure switch are clear and the pressure switch has also been changed. the flue is also clear, any ideas???

Is the venturi the part the pipes connect to going to the fan,if so this is clear. I have a boiler installation guy helping me with this fault but he is a bit confused by it. any other ideas

Although venturi seems clear take it out and check it they can melt and go mishappen

Get a breakdown engineer, rather than an installer. Blokes that only install don't know 5hit.
