bespoke kitchen worktop

i apologise, because i have kind of asked this question before... but i want to build an island thing! in my kitchen, with quite a wide worktop. My question is... where do you get a bespoke worktop from these days? From the usual DIY sheds? or from a specialist? and how much more does it cost for bigger worktops? e.g. 1.5m x 2m?

I've used the first company, second company are known for good timber so their tops should be OK
