For an external bell push on uPVC, please.

I've tried 3 different types of stuff and the push isn't staying put.

A couple of these I'm a bit bothered by their permanence. I will need eventually to get the bell push off, so may go with the rear view mirror solution.

Car number plate pads are another possible. Still got a few from when we had a caravan and changed the towcar.

Velcro pads may work, too?
