The 2 wires in this stat, live and switched, are these the one that connect to the 12v in heat link and to the nest stat?
2 wires from the old stat goto T1/T2 (they change colour by the boiler to black/blue) 2/3 on the heat link goto the RT24v on the boiler

Hard to tell from photo, but is the nest thermostat in the same position as the last one? Have you tested any wiring, inc the 24v side at boiler? Could try the 230v rt side if the previous thermostat worked?

Yes mate same place as the old one, tested all wiring and all have power/connected....

Well maybe you need to contact Nest support, it’s not something I’ve had before. As I said, maybe, connect up to mains side, just n case your 24v side is goosed.

If it's ok to try i'll give it a go, just take the RT from then 24v side and connect it to the RT 230v near the mains power in ?

Or a jumper from L to 2 like this ?

Each photo you have posted has the hot water symbol showing, were you running a tap when you took the pic?

No water running, the mode button has 3 setting, off, water and rads... it just shows the water is on and flashes when the taps running

Press the mode button until you have the rad and tap symbols displayed, at the moment you have the boiler in hot water only mode.
