There are actually some people who would treat a dog better than a child.

I am not comfortable in the company of such people.

If a dog was to attack any of my children i would kill it or at least try to.

Despite the one sided emotional connection, dogs are animals and do not feel emotion.

Never met such a person, do they exist?

Who would not?

Absolute cobblers.

Yes they do.
The guardians of children like Victoria Climbie and 'baby P'.

Are you actually saying you believe dogs feel emotion?

An animal that can actually eat its own young. FFS get real.

Like I said, I have never met anyone like this. I assume from your answer you met all concerned in these cases and know for a fact that they prefer animals to children?

A dog has a modicum of intelligence so much so that it can remember and repeat.

It is bred into them. They are creatures of habit. They will 'do' things for a fuss and will 'do' things for a meal or reward.

To think they have what us humans call 'emotion' is bizarre and misguided.

You are looking like a confused weirdo.

Some dogs jump up my legs whilst the owner is shouting "tiddles get down". I have never ever seen this dog before in my life.

For the love of Christ. Stop typing before you make a real prat of yourself.
