That's hardly the case. Germany, France, not to mention Spain which is obviously the same length plus has border with France as well.

Sweden - Norway is the longest border in Europe.
Spain - Portugal is the longest uninterrupted border in the EU.
I was referring to a border between one country and another, not multiple countries, as in the case of France, Germany Spain, etc. Not that it matters, all borders need to be policed in the event of closure. As I said, it was a long-forgotten useless piece of info in my head.
