It's going in a 1st first floor flat on a suspended timber floor.
The inside dimension of the flat wall to wall is 6.5m X 7.5m
The timber joists are supported in the middle by an RSJ which spans 6.5m. The RSJ is fixed into the external walls either side, onto what I believe are described as 'pad stones'.
No additional support is provided to the floor in the form of walls or posts from ground level
The bath would be located almost directly over the RSJ at one end. I wall planning on overlaying the floor boards in that area and putting down 25mm WPB ply.
I remember reading some where that although these hot tubs are heavy crucially the weight is distributed so does not present a problem
Assuming your dimensions are internal...1.8 x 1.8 x .6 = 1.944 cubic metres.
Thus the water would weigh ...1944 kg....if full.....Nearly 2.0 tonnes...
Obviously your internal dimensions would be smaller than this, thus you could calculate the weight of water as above, once you know the internal dimensions. Don,t forget to add the weight of the unit. Plus the weight of two people....
I would get expert advice on the load bearing capability of your floor before proceeding....
