Hi all, I hope someone can assist with the following issue.
Due to having a new carpet fitted etc, I decided to remove a door for trimming, and at the same time fit new hinges etc as the door has never fitted well and always blinded at the hinge side and sprung open. I did pack out the old hinges to improve matters, but decided to fit new ones and recut the hinges on both the door and hinge on the frame. I cut btoth sets off hinge rebates dso the hinges were flush with the surface on both the frame and dc door in new positions. But the door is still binding. The door sits out of square with a larger gap at the top of the door srtop than at the bottom. The hinge leafs are 20mm and are on a bb hinge.
If anyone can assist I would be very grateful.

Frame or door are not squared.
You'll need to play with hinges position as moving the frame would be a much bigger job.

Hi johnny2007, thanks for your reply. I've checked the frame and door and it appears square to me.
I think the top hinge maybe set too far forwards.
My concern is that the knuckle on the hinge is quite large. If I move the hinge back into the frame, will it cause issues with the door closing as it will force the door towards the latch side of the frame.
Is there a simple way to check if it is the hinge placement that's the issue.
Many thanks for your assistance it's very much appreciated
Best regards Glenn
