I'd be interested to know if you good people have any thoughts on the pros and cons of the different makes of combi boiler.

I'm after something to supply a 4 bedroom semi, where possibly 3 hot water appliances could be on at the same time (thinking bath, kitchen sink and washing machine).

I've heard that Worcester-Bosch are the mutz nutz but does that mean other manufacturers are lacking something? Are Worcester more reliable or cheaper for parts?

Any advice is very welcome as this could be a big cost.

No one would recommend a combi boiler if you expected to operate three outlets at the same time!

Why dont you appoint a CORGI engineer to oversee the installation and advise you?

Look into unvented hot water storage. A conventional boiler with unvented cylinder blows the socks off any combi you care to name!
Search on the following :-
Megaflow
Albion
Premier plus
Unvented hot water

Theres loads of others so thats just a start

You need to be competent to install an unvented cylinder, similar to gas stuff so check the installer is qualified.
Installtion involves contacting local authority to register it

COnsider using cold fill only for WM to save effects on HW at shower. Make sure CW supply to shower is very low resistance; if not, don't take draw-offs before it. Measure your mains pressure and flow - (do a search). COuld also consider using heat bank/store. Read at http://www.heatweb.com/ .
