Am I seeing this wrong?
He has one switch position with a 2 and 3 core and another with the other end of the 3 core.
If the blanked position will be where there are two cables, he could leave it as it appears in the picture (except for grounding the yellow), then just make sure at the other switch position that the red goes to common and the blue to L1 and the yellow to earth.
