Hello,
I think I know part of the answer, just need confirmation.
Our downstairs toilet is blocked. We have a concrete floor and a concrete drive next to the toilet. There are no manwhole covers immediately next by but the outside drains are clear - I looked in there.
I have tried a plunger - no luck, hot water with washing up liquid, industrial strength unblocker for more than 24 hours all did not help and I managed to get a snake wire about 2 metres into the pipework through the toilet. The snake is hitting something and it comes back with "sediment" attached. I cannot however unblock the pipework.
My next step is to get the toilet off. It probably has not been off for 30 years. The bolts are rusty and spanners just shear off rust, so it will be a drill and grind job.
I have attached pictures of the toilet.
Is there an option of working an access port into the bend behind the toilet?
Any other ideas?
