I did not do that.

I found the thread because I was being thorough, and doing due diligence, to ensure I had an accurate view of motorbiking's attitude to the RNLI based on posts made over time.

In it I saw a claim he made which was blantantly false, and therefore one which needed challenging.

I did not try to antagonise him by deliberately posting inflammatory, irrelevant, or offensive comments or other disruptive content. I did not post to ‘bait’ him, by deliberately provoking an argument or emotional reaction, nor did I write something I didn't even believe, just to cause drama.

And you have no rational grounds for claiming that I did.

So instead of "that's not the case/not accurate/incorrect" Did you launch into your usual boring tirade of self-justfied rambles with derogatory implications? That would be characteristic, and trolling too.

There is not, nor could there possibly be, a "difference of opinion".

MNW67 quoted, 100% accurately, word-for-word, a statement on an external website. The statement is there for all to see, as is MNW67's post containing it as a quote.

Motorbiking alleged that MNW67 had misquoted the website, when he clearly, provably, had not.

There can be differences of opinion about what something means. There can be differences of opinion about whether something is accurate, or fair, or justifiable, or any number of things like that.

It's not possible for there to be differences of opinion about what the words actually are.
