Garage CU finally fell to bits. This is the new one.

How many things are wrong with it?

Cheers

Cable entering from top must be sealed, is it?
Cable entering from bottom needs support.
Conductors from MICC at left should be colour sleeved
Don't use tape to mark conductors, it falls off in time
Conductor terminations dont correspond with contact breaker positions. Didn't you ever wonder why they were numbered 1,2 3 etc??
Not the neatest wiring job IMO
I want to see pic with cover on

Your mcb's , neutrals and earths do not 'match' with numbered terminals.

A bit of a mess and lacks sleeving, generally ****!!!

Grub screw missing from RHS "Piranha" nut...

RCD main switch,,

This does not look like a garage CU,,, it looks more like a test board what with MICC, SWA, T&E and flex

Looks more like a 206 Assessment board to me..

Although if that were the case i doubt there would be any red insulated cables.

The earthing conductor is in the wrong hole too :P
Could do with sorting the earthing part out - the reducers are looking a little bit on the rusty side on the pyro too.
What size is the pyro and what current supply?

Do Niglon make their own or are they a re-branded one? They look a little bit familiar - CTI ??

Grub screw missing from RHS "Piranha"

The grubscrew can be seen in pic 4

There is a hole in each flat side, you use one for the grub screw and one for the 4mm screw, the others are left empty usually.

Unless you mean the pyro side, that one looks like it may be missing

Never seen a Niglon CU before, for sale or in service.

That looks very much like a CPN or Chint board to me. Plastic fantastic DIN rail gives it away!

Almost made me cry!

Anyway, in reverse order, ish.

It is a Niglon CU.
Both grub screws are there, honestly.
Didn't use a metal clad CU as I didn't think of it.
Hmm, I thought I used the right holes for the N's and E's. But thinking about it, might have got it wrong. I counted from right to left as that's the way the N's sticker is. I suppose it's more logical to count from left to right.
It is an RCD, 30mA.
Not a job for any assessment, just my garage.
Top cable isn't sealed.
I shall take a picture with cover on.

Cheers all.

It includes an RCD, which should have something done to it at intervals,

The installation should also have something done to it at intervals too...

If only some kind of semi-permanant advice note that could be fixed to the unit were available....
