bnc to scart connector for cctv camera

does anyone know please if it is possible to obtain a bnc connector to scart for a cctv camera installation?

Easy to make your own - but, yes they are around. Even if you cant get Scart to BNC, you can get scart to phonos (red/black audio and YELLOW composite video), and then use a phone to BNC converter on the yellow.

Yes it is!
When buying a scart adapter you need to either get a switchable IN/OUT one or the IN variety. If you are as tight as me you can buy a scart plug and make your own.

Sooo . . . just a theory . . . . I COULD take a DVD player, and plug the yellow phono into a CCTV multiplexer via a BNC adaptor, and the signal viewable by selecting the camera input? And the 2 audio phonos could then go to a . . . PA system . . . for example? Sure beats watching shoplifters, eh!

CCTV uses composite, the same as the yellow phono.

BUT, multiplexors may not be manufactured for a generous resolution!
