Hi,

We moved into this house last year and it has a Minimiser SE boiler for both CH and DHW. It has had a history of not starting in the morning. I recently changed the PCB to the updated "41" version which gives it 5 start attempts. All was well until this morning when the boiler didn't start even after 4 cycles of 5 attempts each. We had had rain and wind overnight. I opened the boiler, removed the fan and burner and noticed there was water on the connection to the the flame detection lead. I dried everything up, reassembled and the boiler started at the first attempt of the first cycle.

I checked the flue terminal and it looked ok (see pic below). What can be done to prevent water ingestion the next time we get rain/wind???

Thanks.
