Botched Execution

The Yanks are incredibly inconsistent. This off duty cop has just been released after serving seven years for murdering a neighbour.

Apparently she is un conscious and in some life support machine ???

Dunno why they can’t just turn of the life support machine ????

And good riddance to bad rubbish imho

She should have been bumped off years ago

The court didn’t sentence her to be taken off life support, it sentenced her to a lethal injection using a specific drug. Unfortunately, it seems that drug was incompetently administered and possibly past its use by date.

Executions are often botched and take longer than intended. They are done in private so you don't usually hear about it.

This includes hanged men slowly strangling, electric chair victims slowly suffocating as their chest muscles go into spasm, firing squad victims slowly bleeding to death, guillotine victims just having part of their head sliced off.

None of them complain about it afterwards.

Fact is she was sentenced to death

The execution went pear shaped and she is now in hospital taking up resources on a life support machine which would be of use to more deserving people (?)

Switch it off and good riddance to
Bad rubbish

Transam gives not a jot

Of course you just made this one up and threw it in there. Most ridiculous one I have ever heard.
I guess it depends what is meant by slow. But frequently firing squads result in a bleed out lasting 30s or so. They aim for the chest not the head, but that is not to say a twitching body is either conscious or alive.

It seems her medical clotting condition meant that the drug burst into her arm rather than flowing freely in her veins.

They are talking about electrocution or hanging now. Apparently the drug has caused severe damage to both arms, she can't eat or swallow.
