Brain abscess

Hi all have any of you or member of the family suffered from a brain abscess ?
My wife is just recovering from one at present just like to share any experiences as we were not prepared for the reactions she would have after coming off the antibiotics ie skin rash, fatigue unable to eat much etc

Ive searched the net but to no avail cheers P M

Thank you. Its a rare condition nobody knows how she got the infection surgeon said it could take 6 to 18 months recovery
