If we're to retain a monarchy, why do they need to live in such extreme opulence? Not for one sec am I suggesting they should be in houses mere mortals like us live in, however neither do I think it projects the right image in the modern era for them to have places like Buckingham Palace, Sandringham etc. And tbh I'm not interested in any counter arguments that usually get brought up e.g. parts of them open to the public, maintained by private funds blah blah blah.

One man’s Strategic diplomacy is another man’s Brown nosing. Would you have done it differently? He is also standing up to him, like refusing to allow uk airbases to be used to bomb Irann. It helps that through his mother’s links, he likes the country and the royal family.
The US authorities have names from many women of many different nationalities, but equally many others don’t won’t or can’t cooperate.
I hope this breaks the monarchy. I’ve never liked them since I was about ten years old.
