Brexit and Black Passports

one can find dodgy ? Or suspect ? Dealings in all political parties ?

Tis the way it is

Still the UK had not got some X leader under house arrest or wearing a tag

Yes exactly the French

Incidentally where have all the corbyn supporters gone

The fair weather friends ??

Trans, I never actually saw a post supporting Corbyn on here. Have you? Corbyn is/was a capital 'S' socialist idealogue. You do know he's not the Labour leader, don't you?

Of course, with Kier out of the way, that could change. He still has plenty of disciples within Labour.

Completely wrong

if Keir goes he wpuld be replaced by somebody like Wes Streeting, who is far more aggressive and would take on and beat the lame Kohnson.

anyway Keir is going nowhere,

Not defending Starmer if he did anything wrong, but at the worst, Beergate appears to be a one off, low-key gathering that may have been more sensible for him to swerve.

On the other hand, the serial p!$$ ups, garden parties, soirees - call them what you will - attended by Doris and his chums were on a totally different scale and regularity. One wonders how they were ever sober enough to govern the country. Hang on a minute................................this may explain all.

But the most unforgiveable aspect of Tory partying v Labour after work beer and curry is - The Tories actually drafted the laws that they treated with contempt and completely ignored while prosecuting ordinary members of the public for much lesser covid law transgressions. That's what sticks in the craw.

I don’t care if Starmer did have a party or not

Saying he would resign over the caper is imo stupid

Imo the worst part of this entire caper was a booze up in no 10 the day before the queen attended her husbands funeral and sat entirely alone in the church to comply with the rules ??

i believe he is highlighting the distinction between a decent, law-abiding man in a position of public authority; and a dishonest, lying weasel who has been given the position of leader of the country.

johnson's supporters would have you pretend that a single investigation into Starmer is equivalent to 126 actual fines issued to the Downing Street mob, which includes our lying Prime Minister.

Bigger fool him than
Theoretically resigning over a curry and a glass of beer
:ROFLMAO:

Any views on the disgraceful way corbyn has been treated ? Or is it a case of towing the party line ?

Some thing that seems to have gained momentum ??

perhaps he has every confidence that he did not break the law.

unlike johnson who knew he broke the law and would not resign.

johnson also repeatedly lied to parliament, of course

and made the rules which he himself broke

If members on this forum were forced to resign when caught out breaking the rules, swerving, lying or falsifying quotes, there would be a fair few missing. Namely the ones who accuse Boris of breaking the rules, swerving, lying, and falsifying quotes.

Nope.

Nor Theresa May, Maggie or any other politician for that matter. Who really gives a chuff. They are rather like traffic wardens and estate agents - essential but despised. You champion those you despise the least... unless you are a horn-blowing sycophant like filly of course.

On Brexit, if we were to rejoin the EU tomorrow, what Brexy Bonus will the forumites miss the most? Keep it to 3 at the most.
