 There are 2 issues

1) The EU want to make leaving there club as difficult and as complex as possible and want it to be a failure as an example to other members who may consider leaving

2) There are those (remainers) who want to subvert democracy ;)

Irish border.

David Trimble spoke about the Irish border issue in A Radio 4 interview .
When?
August 2013?
June 2017?
October 2002?
October 2014?
August 2012?
January 2017?
November 2003?

Which one are you referring to?

What was said?

I spoke about Scotland in a radio interview, but it was many years ago, it was nothing to do with devolution or Brexit.
The above sentence is factually correct but totally irrelevant, as is your, "David Trimble spoke about the Irish border issue in A Radio 4 interview".
It might be factually correct but completely irrelevant to this discussion.
Unless you can put it into context it is a nonsensical contribution.

The rest of your comments is pure a**e end imagination.

So whats your point
Simples!
You are listing the extremely complex issue as two simple issues. But your opinion is that of a dishonest, trolling, bigoted, abusive liar.
Therefore your opinion is not to be highly regarded.

Oh, and you cannot count past 2.

Now about this Radio 4 interview with David Trimble, which one were you referring to?

The UK government has got several incompatible demands, which are impossible. It has not yet been able to agree on something which is workable and acceptable.

No, the EU wants a practical and workable arrangement. The UK government rejects the four available options, and is unable to decide what else it can agree on.

The current bumbling and squabbling in the UK government has left them unable to agree even among themselves. They are consequently unable to put forward anything they could try to agree with the EU.

Brexit Omnishambles.
There is a 5th column of remainers at work trying to subvert the will of the people, It makes one wonder are they being paid by some vested interest.

Yes, the "leaver"ers are

" The Legatum Institute Foundation came under scrutiny in December after media reports highlighted its access to ministers and raised questions about whether Legatum was promoting pro-Brexit political views.Opposition MPs called for a review of Legatum, its funding and its relationship with the government. The think-tank is majority funded by the Dubai-based investment firm Legatum Group set up by New Zealand billionaire Christopher Chandler, who earlier this month was accused by MPs of having been suspected of ties to Russian intelligence. Mr Chandler has denied the accusations."

"The FT previously reported that following Brexit, Legatum went through a radical restructuring that former employees likened to a “purge”. In addition to the newly appointed chief executive, Philippa Stroud, several other employees who held decidedly pro-Brexit views joined in the autumn of 2016. "

Any idea of any names involved in this 5th column?
You do realise that 5th columnists work from within. (from the Spanish civil war: four columns approaching and a 5th column working form within, i.e. enemy sympathisers.)
Therefore, by your definition, these 5th columnists must also be Brexiteers, not Remainers.

George Soros is pumping more money into the remain sympathisers you will be glad to hear.

Ah, the 'will of the people' argument...

Could one not also say that those who kept agitating to leave ever since the original decision to join the EU was made (a more resounding vote btw, given that 67% were in favour) were a '5th column'?

I'm thinking of those in the tory party over the years (and laterly UKIP) that decided to destroy the idea of 'Europe' in order to further their xenophobic/business interests!

So is one 'will of the people' vote more important than a different 'will of the people' vote?

If it is, then why do we bother with parliamentary elections every few years?
