Lets have this conversation in about a years time? --- then we will see the true picture???
No high level NHS Doctors? No serfs willing and able to pick the fruit in the Strawberry fields [who else will do it?]
As I recall we were told by all the heavy hitters in the Brexit camp that we would expect to reclaim gazzillions of £££ per WEEK? Where did that go?
As for Immigrants why do we not accept high level trained competent clinicians and other "immigrants" that will assist the UK Economy?
As an aside? where are the UK Government in all of this??? dissaray confusion. indecision, in-fighting almost worse than that melt down that was UKIP?
I think that UKIP flamed a feeling in the UK, mostly English voters [UKIP did not in any way even appear on the radar in Scotland] which assisted in fueling an anti-Europe surge to happen, the Conservatives were severely spooked by the perceived loss of voters, so jumped on to the crest of the wave and in an attempt to stop voter drain went several steps ahead of the UKIP agenda and started to pump out propaganda about gazzillions of £££ being saved, almost Zero Immigration [no matter how well qualified the immigrant was / could be / is, and how useful an Immigrant that can interpolate the results of a Cancer Scan form an X Ray? ]
The standard mass panic propaganda of [thanks Donald] Fake news was pushed as hard as possible by the Conservative Westminster ruling party in an attempt to shut down UKIPs rising grab of Conservative voters and maintain the Conservative position in Power.

A year, lol! I doubt it. May looks to be prolonging our membership indefinitely. It will push the gammons past bright pink for sure.
