Hi
A bit of the wall was knocked down by a car. Is it ok to put back the whole bit back with new mortar?

Seem silly to break off the block apart. I was thinking of chiselling the old mortar around the broken bit and settle it back in place with fresh mortar

In the past, I have used MS polymers to glue bricks back.

Eg- clear Stixall

I have used it in situations like yours.

It has held the corner pier on my own wall for the last 10 years. I didn't remove any of the mortar.

If you try it, wait 3 days and kick the corner to make sure that it is strong enough.

Why not it's just a large odd shaped brick.Possibly put a couple of10mm spacers underneath to stop it squishing the mortar out, and a pair of helping hands
