Hi all

I need some advice. I have just been quoted £1500 for 22 square meters of wall (£68 per square meter) for a small extension. It is a straight forward lean to extension with majority of walls on the side with a large Bi-fold door at the front. Traditional brick and block walls. I live in South East near Basingstoke. Everything has been built up to DPC level at the moment.

I am supplying everything on site all he has to do is pitch up and lay the bricks. I will really appreciate any advice?
Thanks

Full fill cavity or partial fill?

What sort of bricks?

What is the pointing finish?

Are you supplying the muck?

Are there any gables or is it a hipped lean-to?

Is there any brick detailing?

Who is supplying the scaffold?

Wall starters or toothing-in and who is chopping/fixing?

As said get more quotes, too many variables to get a sensible comparison.
