BRINO Deal

French !! You can never trust the French

Corrupt politicians tis who they are tis what they do

Scoundrels ;)
We have overtaken them after fourteen years of corrupt and incompetent Tory rule.

Hilarious watching ardent Brexers coming out of the woodwork and suddenly getting a hard-on for the fishing industry. I'm guessing its about as important to the UK as coal mining.

Brexit - utter pile of shít.

I didn't really follow the Brexit deal. But I have got the impression, reading stuff today, that fishing was seen as a trap they had laid for the EU. When it came up for renegotiation (2026 or earlier) the Brexiters seem to think they could have demanded all sorts of concessions from the EU in return.

What same importance as the French ( scoundrels )

Coal mining ?? Margret put pay to that industry in the 80s

Nonsense

How may UK Pms have been put under house arrest ? Tagged ? Or investigated for corruption ?

Than you have that Christine ligard (?) she got convicted of some serious finacial fiddle ??
Still involved in the EU which is probably one of the most corrupt institutions in the western world

French :ROFLMAO:

Not enough. If anything the fact that the French do it shows their system works better.

Negligence in the way she failed to review a compensation award to a businessman.
Still involved in the EU which is probably one of the most corrupt institutions in the western world
One of the most effective trading blocks for its members, with generous expenses
Exactly

So what's your problem. Do you think you have some political voice on here or somehow anyone even reads what you write. You are a bore.
You should consider yourself privileged that you have the opportunity to be in the same country that Ellal lives in. We nearly lost him and his entire family six years ago after the 2019 General Election. Phew, what a loss to the country and this forum that would have been…..

OMG I didn't realise. I like to read anything he posts on an evening as it is better than any sleeping tablet. It's a natural way to get to sleep.

Every little helps

Dog passports (y)

Your point has two possible interpretations:
1. That in french politics, the judicial system is stronger, more rigorous, more critical and better prepared to challenge the PM (or President) for any underhand dealings, than the UK equivalent.
2. As your preferred option is probably that French politics is more corrupt than UK politics. But I think we've seen examples of widespread cover-ups in UK politics, which skews the history somewhat.

I am convinced that option 1 is more accurate. But at the same time I also recognise that individuals temptation to exploit the opportunities presented is a major factor.
When occasionally we suffer a really corrupt PM or party leader, they are very corrupt, e.g. Johnson, Thorpe, Blai, Cameron, perhaps.

I think, when all is said and done, UK politics has had more than it's fair share of corruption and sleaze, but few have made it into the courts.

You are literally moaning that Labour haven’t undone as much of damage created by the Tories as you would like.
They just despise being reminded what an utter failure their shítty Brexit was, poor luvs.

Bring it on.
