Anybody know what size heat resistant flex I should use to add a Sunvic TLX 2259 room thermostat to my Vaillant TurboMax 837e combi boiler?
I want to use the full 4 core set up (live send / live return / neutral anticipator / earth).
ie .75mm2 / 1.00mm2 / 1.5mm2 ?
To be safe I have tried to get 1.5mm2 but nobody stocks 4 core that size.
The boiler power supply is on a 3 amp fused square pin plug as per Vaillant manual.
This is via a metre of 1.5mm2 heat resistant flex back to the plug and socket then 2.5mm2 twin and earth back to a 16 amp MCB in the consumer unit.
I rang the Vaillant technical line at 60p per minute and she said she didn't know that kind of stuff !!!
I rang the Sunvic help line 3 times and the robot said try again later!!!
