Anyone use a cable tacker for use on mains voltage cable, the ones with the insulated staples?
If so, thoughts on them as far as ease of use and suitability for the job.
Any worth recommending?

Don't bother. I tried one it was cack. The impact of the staples hitting timber was all that was needed for 50% of staples to split in half. Also there was only 1.5mm available no bigger size so you limited to useage.

Edit. It was a rapid.

Thanks your for you input dingodeano.
I won't bother then.
I was aware that there was a limits of up to 1.5mm. and it was the utac rapid I was looking at.
But if they are splitting every other one, seems a waste of time.
