Hi. Just another question, I need to run power to two exterior lights and be able to turn on/off from a switch, as I'm unable to get to any lighting I was going to run a spur from the ring main to a 3amp fused switch with 2.5 T/E and from there through the wall and up to the light with round flex cable and use the fused switch to turn lights on/off. My Question is 1. Is this OK to do or is there a better way? 2. What size flex cable should be used ( I have some .75mm but would buy bigger if need be) Thanks

0.75mm² can carry up to 6amp, so your plan is fine if the FCU fuse is 3A.
Note, you will need to use 3-core cable.
