I think this is a common weed that's gone into flower. We've only owned the house a year and the last guy was an expert gardener so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that it might be something special

It looks like a euphorbia to me, pretty flowers, probably bought and planted by the gardening expert.
It's not usually regarded as a weed, and is not invasive.
It looks like a shady spot? if so - it's one of the garden plants that will do well there, where a lot of others will not.
so, two questions:
- Do you like it?
-Have you got anything else you'd rather have in that spot?
I would enjoy it if it was in my garden
I'm not so sure about the low plant in the corner behind it though - could it be ground elder?
Once after clearing patch of common surge weeds, i had some sap on my fingers and inadvertantly touched my lower lip -it stung a bit, then started to go numb so whatever is in the sap is potent
