Can anyone identify these sockets?

Anyone know what these sockets are for? They're on my wall by the tv points.

Bottom section of the first image is the speaker connection, top looks like midi, but lots of things used that kind of connector. Could even be for speaker separates from the woofer.
Second picture is too dark to see but I guess it's the other channel, or maybe the place to connect the stereo system.
 
upper one DIN connector, lower one speaker connector.

Might have been for a tape deck or something. Are they in a place where a hifi rack might once have been?
 
They are 5 Pin DIN, and 2 Pin DIN sockets (the bottom left looks like a plug) used for audio. Someone HI FI enthusiast probably installed them in the 1980's so that they didn't have loose wires trailing all over the place.

5 pin din is used for various things, but intended as an audio interlink. Ground, L in, R in, L out, R out.

The bottom one is also a DIN standard socket for a single speaker. Must be more in the room/house.
