Can I safely remove this boiler controller from the wall?

I assume the small screws at the bottom hold it onto a bracket?

Plan is to box in the area to the left and mount all electrics there, so we can get the tiles off the wall and gets it all plastered (or wood panelled!)

My guess is that those screws just allow the front of the controller to be removed, and there would be internal screws fixing the back of the controller to the wall.

    turn off the power.
undo the screws 3 or 4 turns (don't need to remove)
Then the contrller should hinge upwards and off.

Take a picture of the wires just incase.
The backplate can be unscrewed from the wall
