Of course, to be semantic, that 'CORRECT' could also be telling you to repair something.
Can you elaborate on this please?
To confirm, whether 1 or both lives are connected, this device will display “correct”?
You have answered yourself by asking ...
In other words, the tester will show 'CORRECT' (which, electrically, is true) even if one of the 'lives' is not connected and 'needs to be repaired'.
