Can I take a conservatory down?

Hello people. I wouldnt normally ask but Ive got a BCO coming soon to look at starting on an extension on another side of the house. But the conservatory is on existing elevation drawing. So not sure if me getting on with dismantling the very old conservatory comes into it? Or if removing a consevatory is ever an issue?
